They bill themselves as a scouting company who will help you get set up with an agent, but how do they get paid?? Since they're not an agency they're not actully booking jobs, yet they have to stay in business somehow. My guess is they do this by charging some kind of fee.
I am willing to bet that Proscout isn't very discriminating with who they sign, so they probably don't have a great reputation with agencies. Also, unless you're in LA or NY, you don't really need an agent to book jobs, so again ask yourself why they are scouting in all these small markets to find people to get agents for when they don't need them? Answer: to get your money.
