It won't benefit us, but it will benefit the oil companies. Think about it, Bush doesn't care about us, he is already beyond wealthy. He cares more about the power of the US as a country, and that happens when big corporations get more power and are expanded. He is taking our power, our resources, and allocating them to the big corporations.

Oh, and I wouldn't go so far as to say that we went into Iraq for the oil. That is not a given, not a fact. If we believed every conspiracy theory out there, everyone would be corrupt by now with all these accusations.

Your sweet Jacks036,

But what part of this equation are you having problems with?:

Stable Middle East=Stable Oil Prices=Stable Economy

Seriously, do you not know where gasoline & electricity come from?

I won't benefit personally but perhaps Al Gore will

He will sell it all to Occidental Petroleum, same as he did with half of our oil reserves, of course his father, Al Gore Sr., was a vice president of Occidental.

Maybe we should all buy stock in Occidental Oil just in case .

ROFLMAO!!! You maniacs are still claiming that this war is for oil, but we have not touched a drop. You have even scared the reps so bad that we have not even used it to pay for the reconstruction of Iraq...WHICH WE SHOULD!

Get a dose of reality...the libs cries of "war for oil" have made it so if it HAD BEEN a war for oil, we can NEVER touch a drop or all he11 would break loose.

Penelope...your dad is either ignorant or lying. Bush's tax cuts would not have effected his ability to pay for your college. I would be mad at dear old dad for spreading propoganda to his own daughter.

You know sometimes I wish it would fail. Because the first ones the Taliban would stone to death in the streets or execute by firing squad would be all you liberals. If I wouldn't have to wear all those dress looking clothes and eat camel I think it might be worth losing it all.

My Dad says Bush's tax cuts for working people have made it possible for him to pay for my college without me taking out loans.

Thanks Mr. President!
