Probably not, but what's the problem? He's a good candidate in her eyes. Part of his appeal to her probably is - she is a VERY successful black woman, and she'd like other intelligent good black successful people to be in the ring, too.

Of course not. What are Obama's opinions? What will his platform be? Oprah cant know because he hasnt stated any of that. She very plainly is supporting him because he is the only candidate that has black in his bloodline. After spending many years involved in politics, I think Obama needs a lot of experience and possibly some age before he can be considered a serious candidate. Does anyone believe he will be the Democratic nominee? I dont think even Oprah's money can assure that.

Of course not. Oprah Winfrey is supporting Barack Obama for president because he is African American. If you've ever watched her show, you know that in Oprah's world being African American automatically makes you the best choice for president(or anything else for that matter).

i don't sense that Oprah has positioned sufficient concept into this together with her time table as busy as some say. All she sees is a black male that many human beings like so she is leaping aboard. Oprah shouldn't convince the feeble minds of her visitors and that i do no longer think of Clinton being a woman concerns thus. they're all working for one purpose. entire domination.

I doubt it, but I don't have anything against Obama. What bothers me about any candidate she supports that strongly is the influence she has. She says she likes a certain book, designer, bra or any of her "favorite things" and suddenly they are best sellers without the buying public knowing anything else about them.
Our next president should not be selected the same way we choose a $20 book.

Odd, I thought Oprah being a woman, would support having a woman in the white house, but obviously Oprah isn't one to pick a candidate out of a list of names in a shoebox, you know she put a lot of thought into it. Atleast Oprah uses her brain, unlike the "faux" news network that supports anyone or anything rethuglican even if the candidates are rotten.

Of course not! She never had a second place women's college basketball team that was white on her stupid TV show either. She left poor Hillary hanging for him too.

I don't think that's true because she had Hillary on her show and Obama on her show last season.

I would think so. You support a canidate by beliefs not color.
Would you ask this question if it were Ellen DeGenerous supporting Ron Paul?
