I think of my children and that brings me back to my center.

I am very emotional & cry alot for many reasons good , bad, mostly happy crying lately, so that part of the question is easy. I have not thought of giving up for many years. I think when you are a mother that is not an option. Just recently, I seem to be happier and I think it has something to do with having a positive effect on others. So if there is such thing as feeling like giving up, it is no longer in my vocabulary

I go ahead and cry! It's really cleansing and does make me feel better! I talk to good friends they can always talk me through it and sometimes put a new spin on it that I may not have thought of before! Go for a long walk by myself and just think it over! I also take a nap or get a good nights sleep...things always look brighter the next day! =D

Crying in a moment is healthful to the eyes, particularly when its only a reaction of your enjoyment in viewing a movie or listening to a radio drama or winning in a game or whatever. There's nothing wrong for me to cry when I feel like crying but I never gave up easily.

I pull myself up by the bootstraps, grind my teeth, and get to work. The only thing feeling sorry for yourself accomplishes is years of emotional trauma. Face life, or run from your problems, but never cry and give up. Action is the only way to be happy. Even if that action causes you to quit a job you hate or move from a city you can't stand, it's proactive because you're DOING something--getting a new job, finding a new home. But crying about it and saying woe is me is foolish.

I go to my friend and start talking and crying while hugging her. Usually after I did that she start to calmed me down and talk to me. Or sometimes I talked with my mother too. But the thing is I just let go of my cry and let it shed. Usually after talk with someone, I used to make up my mind and I can get up again

I let myself have a good cry and then think of all the positive things in my life and realize they outweigh all the negatives. And always remember... tomorrow will be a better day.

Get up and find something to do. Check in on friends that I haven't talked to in awhile, take a walk, when I am out I try to observe those around me. Those are the times when life can overwhelm, but if you look around there is someone out there that needs your help. Good luck!!!

I'm trying to decide that right now. "Dark nights of the soul" are he*** aren't they? The feeling of desolation and depression is almost over whelming isn't it? I guess that I am there for the night. Try to sleep sister. Maybe things will be better in the morning. Not that I actually believe that myself but I try.... Crone

I just always remember that there is someone out there who has it worse than me! I also remember that I have tons of people who love me and wouldn't know what to do if i wasn't around. But crying my eyes out, listening to music, reading sad quotes to make me cry even harder *it works*, locking myself away, and taking photographs also works to bring me back up.

This is your own state of mind telling you to do this.
You're in control of that so learn how to control these situations and deal with them.

We all have difficult times throughout our lives but we learn how to manage them and get through it.
Life sucks for everyone at times. But if our lives were perfect wouldn't that be terrible too?

Turn your situation around and say well okay thats happened, its out of my control but I can do this or that to solve the problem. Find solutions to your issues and get on top of them.
