Forewarned is forearmed. Even in battle wise men use scouts. Point men. Messengers. Clairvoyance serves a purpose. Not for everyone. It is not so much for control as it is for cultivating the imagination to think beyond here, there, then and now.
Think of Stonehenge and how it connects with the four seasons. Think of the stained glass windows in Italian churches and how the light cast through them strikes certain aspects of the tiles on the floor at certain times of the year.
Think of the Pyramids and how they point to the Constellations.
You can see how a glimpse from a stranger can sometimes have an uncanny ring of the truth. Those who do not believe, never will. Those who do believe have another dimension to help them live well.

In a way, I do want to know what's in store for me in life
I hate living with regrets and worries of the future
I'm always having to worry whether or not I'm doing the right thing
It does bring all that you have mentioned, except a better life
Even though it gives me the future to see what the things I'm doing is leading up to, it ruins the surprises I have waiting for me
In life, I want to live
and that means living with the mistakes
and making myself better from learning from them
So when I really think about it
All the risks, mistakes, and choices I make are worth it
haha, when I first read your question, I was like OF COURSE!, but now that the more I think about it, I don't really want to. What's the point of life if you already know what you're getting from it? Life should be filled with surprises, risks, questions, and uncertainty. that's the beauty of it all.

Future and past are both the minds way of keeping you unaware in the Present moment. NOW is all that is ever real. When the future arrives it will be "NOW". Tomorrow will never come for it will be "NOW".Past was NOW but is no more. BE HERE NOW is the full experience. Avoid the illusion of past and future.

Yep,I would like to know if I will ever be well enough to come off oxygen, walk properly and leasve my wheelchair behind and have my hernia?lump? whatever? removed - If I will ever have happy life feeling fit and in a nice home with my family - ah well - dreams yes, but most people would like to know if something good was ahead of them I think.

I would like to know. My health is bad and, according to a couple doctors, I will not see my son graduate (he's a sophomore this year). So, yes, I would like to know if they're wrong. I just don't see how I can feel this good if, in fact, they're right.
