I tuck them in, then before I go to bed they get checked to be sure they are covered up and not at the wrong end of the bed.
My kids are GREAT sleepers and very very rairly up thru the night and they do share a room (I have two girls 5 yrs and 20 mths old).
I am never too worried about them, once they are in bed they know to go to sleep - as they are usually tired by then anyways.
Great question...are you a worryier about them at night? If you have other questions be sure to em me, I can help you if you like.

I'm not a parent yet but I nanny for a 6 week old baby girl. I'm not her mother and even I check on her when she's sleeping, "just to make sure". I'm a worrier and you just hear so many horror stories about parents finding their infant had chocked or died of SIDS, it just worries me. Since this baby isn't even mine, I can't even imagine what I'm going to be like with my own kids...guess I won't be leaving the nursery until they're 2...hahaha but not really

my son is 5 1/2 months.. i check on him 5 min's after being asleep.. before i go to bed.. when i wake up to feed him, 5 min's after that.. When he's napping - in the middle of his nap. When he goes past his usual wake up time at night, i automatically wake up and RUN..
when he was a newborn - every 10 minutes.. literally [ he slept close to me ]
now i just make sure he doesn't have blankets wrapped up around or over him.. and nothing he can get in trouble with..

we dont have kids yet,
but I do make sure my husband, the dogs, and the cats, are all accounted for if I wake up in the middle of the night.
Its not that i think they are all out plotting against me its just something ive always done. Sometimes i go double check door locks and such too.

Several times a night. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will also do the same. You can never check on them too much, in my opinion.

I check on my one year old every time I get up. My other kids are 11, 12, 14, 15, and 20. I DO peek in on my 20 yr. old, to make sure she made it home safely ( on the weekends). Goes to show - it doesn't matter HOW old your children are . . . moms will always be moms!

My son is 21 months & I'll only check on him if he doesn't get up at his usual time in the morning or if I hear him cough or make a noise or something like that.

Now that they are older, I check them before I go to sleep but that's it. They can get up and come to me if they need me.
