In college, I received only a few B's, and the only C I got was from a woman like the one you're describing in a Speech Class. I've been a trainer in the past, and have no problem giving speeches. Even my girlfriend at that time couldn't understand why I got the low grades I did(I didn't do it wrong at all, and many were nervous and so on, that got higher grades). I couldn't dispute it, because it was the last semester and I was graduating nearly the same time as discovering my grade.
You will encounter hate throughout your life, whether it's individual, or towards a group. Just keep focused on progressing yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually--and disregard others.

I used to be a teacher and can honestly say after 35 years in education I always wanted the very best for all my pupils regardless of gender.

I think for centuries men have been better than women...at least in the eyes of society. So now women seem to want to turn it all around and change the direction of things. I must admit I agree with alot of feminist views like equal pay. However under no circumstance should any gender be better than the other. Men will always be better at somethings and women will always be better at others. Nothing is superior, nothing is inferior. Instead of going around saying women are better than men, these groups should focus on specifics. And if women really want to be equal they should be required to sign up for selective service too.

You'll also note, that boys used to be ahead in schools and feminists were hyperventilating about it... now that schools are aimed toward girl-power (i.e. making them favourable to girls and hostile to boys - as you've noted), the girls are sky-rocketing ahead of the boys except for two areas...science & math.
Oddly, despite the blatant discrepancy, and now it is boys who are doing badly - feminists (those who 'claim' to seek equality) are oddly silent on the issue... perhaps they're not after 'equality' after all ;-)
If I were you - I would begin taking quotes (literally, word for word) and when you have a good few misandric (hatred for males) or supremacy (girls are better blah blah) quotes, make an official complaint about the teacher in question.
There's little point going to the head-teacher, as they too are generally feminist indoctrinated with girl-power crap. Instead, go above - turn to the PTA (again, sadly largely female focused) or the board of education for your area.
Being 'girl friendly' is one thing... being anti-boy is another,a nd it boils down to pure sexism.
You go, boy!!!

women have been fighting for equality since man became bipedular. many women lived through the 60s and 70s which i am going to label rather broadly as the most recent big push for women's equality. despite a facade of equality, there has yet to be a female vice president or president and on average women make 75 cents for every dollar a man makes in a comparable position. i think it is perfectly reasonable for your teacher to fiercely defend women's rights; it is probably a struggle that defined her.

Because they're sexist, man-haters. In essence, they're indifferent to the implications the feminization on public institutions (e.g. pro-female education), and society on the whole, has had on males. Why wouldn't they though, as it furthers their anti-male agenda?
Nevertheless, If true equality was, indeed, on their agenda, they would be speaking up and lobbying to have the gender inbalance at college/universities addressed.

I had a college professor that was into the whole feminism and woman power thing.
There was always these "things she would say in class" that made me think of her like that.
Then, one day, I needed to go to her office to turn in an assignment early (I was leaving on a school related trip and did not my assignment to be late).
In her office was literally hundreds of book about women becoming "dominant over men."
That pretty much explained everything.

"i don't think gender dictates how good of a person you are or how well you will do well in school."
i am a feminist (gasp!) and i believe just that. gender does not dictate how good of a person you are, it's all about the quality of a person. therefore, both sexes should be treated fairly and equally.
smeather and roo? do you HEAR yourself? hello! do you understand how ignorant your statements sound? i know that it's cool nowadays to hate on feminism, but i think it's cooler to think for yourself. and roo? maybe your coach doesn't want to be married. ever think about that?

I've had male teachers in the past who regularly put down girls. Some of them would not help the girls with their math problems. Instead, they would just tell them that they were going to get married right after high school so they didn't need to know math. I see complaints about female teachers being perceived in engaging in male bashing but I can tell you that the men can be just as bad.

no one is saying that girls are better than boys, only that boys are given advantages because of their sex that girls are not. It sounds like your essay is about making it so that boys aren't getting special privileges that girls never got. Don't be so quick to assume and try to think critically instead of jumping to conclusions.
