ok so i went to the hospital today cause i was certain i was having contractions, but they were super painful and almost intolerable and i thought for sure something was wrong. Well after being monitored for an hour, they are braxton hicks contractions but what i don't get is i'm only 13weeks pregnant how come i can feel them now? I have had 3 kids before and i know all pregnancies are different but i have never had these before, is it common for women to get them this early or am i just an oddball?

the more kids you have the stonger you will feel braxton hicks, and earlier too. Your body has done this all before, so it knows what to do earlier and stronger. It why your labor is usually shorter with each pregnancy, your body remebers what to do.

Sounds like you may have gotten too buy with your other activities and gotten dehydrated. Try drinking more water and resting a bit. They should ease up. Birth blessings.

yup you can have braxton hicks in your first trimester, normally you can tell them apart from regular ones because if you rest they normally with go away or get better.

its probably since you have had three children that you are now so sensitive to them. I have heard of other women feeling them early, so you are normal! enjoy your pregnancy!
congrats!
