There might be a list of bad property management firms, but probably not individuals. If you are hiring a property manager, do a reference check and call back a couple of employers and check their credit, etc. Ask to talk to their clients if they did vacation rentals for individual owners. In some states property managers have to be licensed but not in other states. Maybe you could check the state licensing board and see if they have an easily searchable list.

Why would you want a list of BAD property managers anywhere? what would you do with such a list if you could get one? Ask for a list of GOOD property managers...Alas, such lists are few and far between. Just look at the mortgage mess this country finds itself in--an interest rate cut (fed funds rate) of at least 50 basis points is all but certain at (or perhaps even before) the next Fed Open Market Committee meeting.
