Does the word "thankyou" have a space between "thank" and "you". If so, is the word with no space incorrect?

The word thankyou can be used as thank you and as a compound word thankyou.

Thankyou, is used for an example at the end of a letter closing as : thankyou for your time

Thank you is used to thank some one -- i would like to thank you ----

Yes, "thank you" needs a space. It's incorrect without one.
