Elysia is the most beautiful name. It comes from "elysian fields" the blessed place heroes go to when they get to heaven. Pick a "soft name" to go with it. Nothing with a K,Q, or C. Be forwarned her nickname might be Ely ,Ellie, or Elyse. The correct pronounciation is EH-LEE-SEE-UH.

Well, I think Elysia is a beautiful name! Michelle or Michele would go great with it as a middle name. That just happens to be my name and I have gotten compliments for the last three decades! It sounds pretty, and looks very professional on a resume or college application, or with "Dr." in front of it. :) My name is pronounced a-leesh-a, and thats the pronunciation that I prefer and recommend. Your spelling is very pretty and unique also.

Well, congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! My Laia Alyce is turning 1 soon as well! (Pronounced: lay-uh a-lease....like Princess Lea from Star Wars) They are lots of fun!!
