Probably a bulb is burnt out. These lights are in a circuit designed to run at a certain amount of AMPS, that is how the circuit breaker for the switch works. The blinker blinks because there is a Bi-metal arm in a circuit breaker that heats up as Amps flow through it. The two different metals will expand at different rates, and this causes it to pop up and break the circuit when it gets too hot, it will then cool, return to normal shape and length, and fall in place, reconnecting the circuit, every time your blinker blinks, that's what is happening. When one bulb burns out,it causes the circuit to run with higher amps, so the circuit breaker heats up quicker, so it blinks faster. Just so you know WHY it blinks so fast when your bulb is out.

Normally this idicates a burned out bulb in either the front or rear signal lights.
Or, it might be the "flasher" under the dash is going bad.
Best thing to do is start up the car and then flip your singnal lever right and inspect all of the bulbs on the right side of the car and then do the same on the left side. You'll probably find one burned out bulb that can be replaced, in most case, by yourself.
Good Luck!

If its only one side that blinks faster then its not the flasher; probably bad bulb.
If its both sides that blink fast then its probably the flasher. Turn the emergency flashers on and watch the lights. You will probably find a bad bulb.
Hope it helps & good luck.

this normally means the bulb is about to go out. Get a new bulb. Once you put it in and restart the car you should notice that the turn signal returns to the normal speed.

It means the bulb is about to go, so you'll need to replace it. Go to a car parts store and make sure you buy the correct replacement part, since there are so many! I think I just needed a screwdriver to access the bulb.

If all of the bulbs are working, I would suggest changing the flasher (usually located in the fuse box)
