A lot of women tear themselves the first time and there is extra bleeding and soreness. It's important to use condoms AND LUBE for this reason. Condoms not only protect against STD's (though not HPV or Herpes), but prevent the friction that skin to skin contact can cause.
Female condoms, not to be confused with the diaphram, are even more effective against STD's including HPV and Herpes. Lovers often find them more pleasurable.
You should see a doctor just to make sure everything is allright.
You sound kinda young, remember: "There is no condom for the Heart"

Your hymen might not have tore off completely or there is a tear in your vagina. Its also likely that your where your hymen tore became infected. You might want to go get that checked out.

It can be normal because each woman's body is different, but like the others said, you need to go to the dr. asap.

It's very abnormal if you're a guy and you're having vaginal pain.
But if you're a girl, that's abnormal, too, just not quite as abnormal.
