My sons and I have a routine. With the one year old, he has a bottle, has his diaper changed. Gets put in the crib. I cover him with a sheet, and the a blanket. Rub is cheek. Tell him I love him, turn on his fish thing, and then quietly leave the room. My three year old... I walk him to bed, tell him I love him, kiss him and tuck him in. Then I turn on his nightlight.
My husband gets a kiss, and an I love you.
