MTV was, and I mean was , something I could watch anytime I got bored with regular TV crap. It hasn't been that for a long time. I realize Def Leppard and Duran Duran aren't exactly what younger people want to see now days but there are some baddass bands out there I would like to see more often. It is unfortunate that artists, networks, and promoters go from kickinass to kissinass

At least VH1 plays videos these days. I am an old fart and do remember MTV's debut. I really liked them when they played music 98 percent of the time. Has anyone heard from Nina Blackwood, and did her hair ever get evened out?

I asked this very question a long time ago!!
They used to play real music videos and now it's pure junk like little brats having half million dollar birthday parties, all while cussing their parents when the party's details aren't to their specifications. It's a sad channel now.

Not so much funny as stupid and annoying. I mean it's MUSIC TELEVISION, and do you ever see any music videos on there?! No! Except for like a 5 second clips on TRL
