I am thirty...I've seen every one of the vmas and I agree. This year SUCKED hardcore! I want to see the fight between Tommy Lee and Kid Rock..that has to be the most interesting of the night...and Sara Silverman had some zingers. But, to the point, Britney looked completely out of it. I don't know if it was nerves or being hungover or being drugged up, but I was COMPLETELY unimpressed with her entire performance. It was lack luster to say the least. She had like zero choreography. All she did was strut around stage and gyrate her body in different directions. There was no artistic nature to it at all. The song is so annoying as it is. She really did NOTHING to make her comeback spectacular. Yeah..and where the hell was Cris Angel?

I in simple terms observed it on Tivo and had the comparable reaction as bodendoi2001. I immediately had to comprehend if i grow to be the sole individual who observed. She's no longer "fat" in assessment to prevalent women (fairly those with 2 infants) yet in accordance to Hollywood standards she is probable obese!! She is approximately my length (and that i'm plenty older than she) and that i truthfully does no longer pass onstage (or everywhere else) dressed like that. To precise all of it off, she looked very uncomfortable and curiously forgot a thank you to lip sync.

I was just going to post this same question! She looked totally loopy, I told my husband that we just watched this girl kill her career! She looked like she was falling asleep and a few times she lost her footing! Every one they panned to in the audience was thinking what the rest of America was thinking "WTF?". I know it is cruel but I laughed, it is funny she has all the money in the world but could not by happiness! Oh and by the way the VMA's sucked I am mad I wasted space on my DVR for it!

I agree.
Every time the camera got a close-up on her face she looked out of it. There was absolutely no energy in her lyp synching or dancing and she looked almost lost.

I dunno it looked like a major case of nerves to me. I doubt she would have been under the influence with so much depending on her performance (not to mention all the problems she has had).
