I am a little disappointed in the performance.
All the things she's been going through the past year or so have been tough on her as it is, let alone having to deal with it all under the spotlight. She sure could have used a really great comeback performance to remind everyone why she once was the number one pop star in the world.
The song isn't bad, but it's not catchy enough to get everyone's attention after all the negative press she's been getting. And the blatant lip-syncing doesn't help her credibility as any sort of artist. Also, given the fact that the press and everyone in the world knows that she's a little overweight [not fat, just not as in shape as she was in her prime] right now, she really shouldn't have shown up on stage in a bra and panties- a little trashy and over-the-top if you ask me.
She also looked very reserved and a little nervous...you could tell she was focused on the choreography more so than the energy she was portraying on stage, because she sure did not look like she was into it.
I'm a little sad for her, because I was really hoping to see some of the old Britney! Hopefully she'll work it out soon

Poor Britney is infected with the itch for recognition, and the haughty belief that she is special. I find her boring and slut like. I never waist my time looking at her, or listening to her because she reminds me of a loser and a has-been who is going down the tubes, and is frantic that she will not forever be worshiped. Which has already begun to happen.

I think she should have waited longer to perform... She almost tipped on over, off beat, boring and simply not good to open for the VMA's..... I like to see her perform normally but she sucked butt tonight! Hopefully she will find herself better next time....!

Britney's performance sucked,there was nothing good about it.
It's really too bad,because I was rooting for her.

i was contemplating calling the pimps in the vegas area asking if they lost one of their low earning hos
she was disgusting and the performance will only remind people why she faded off to begin with and there really isnt any comeback if this is what we should expect in the future

she seemed very uneasy ..and that would be the first time id ever use the word UN..infront of easy when talkin about britney spears..she seemed to be messed up...
maybe just nerves..but i doubt it
