That is not true love! Love does not hold grudges and does not harber anger! In what ways does he love you...sexually? Don't get yourself stuck in a relationship that is not o.k. for you and don't tell yourself that he loves you no matter what...even in treating you badly. True love does not treat someone meanly, does not call names, etc.
I would suggest that first of all you not sleep around anymore cause no matter who you are with they may have issues with that, but find someone who truly loves you!!!

he doesn't know the word (or the meaning of) LOVE. Why is your past such a problem for him? The answer: Egotistical! That's it. I had a boyfriend that "loved me so much too" and while I was too naiive to realize it then, he was abusing me in every which way he could! Your story reminds me of all-too familiar times...thank GOD I got away from him, and truly did find the love of my life, the father of my daughter, -my husband John, who truly loves me! some one who truly loves wouldn't be calling you names and making you feel bad about your past relationships. When he asked about your past did he tell you the details about his at the same time? If he did then you need to point out to him that you do not use it against him and when he does it hurts you. Remember when someone loves you they try to protect you not hurt you.

If he really loved you, he wouldn't feel the need to bring up the past and throw it up in your face. That's really low.
The past is the past, he needs to leave it behind him.

that is not normal and hes mean and he will get worse as it goes on i would just stop and find someone else and forget him that is abusive and mean.
