so im wondering about certain seats

i just recently saw wicked in LA 3 months ago
and i was wanting to go again!!!

but right now the only tickets i can afford are around 80 or 90 dollars...

and that price range is in the very back of the mezzaziene!!!

last time i saw it i was sitting in the orchestra
it was cool

but what im asking is,
do you think the veryback row of the mezzaziene would suck?

You can check discount ticket sites to see if they have any good seats or you can try for the lottery seats. Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time, people who present themselves at the Pantages box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum and then thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of front orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. An ID is required to purchase the tickets. If your name gets drawn then you get to sit up front! If not, you're out of luck but you're in Hollywood! Go get some Thai food and people watch :-)

Yeah, it probably would. I know theater tickets are ridiculously expensive. I used to buy balcony and mezzanine only. I saw "Phantom", "Ragtime" and "Les Miz" from nose-bleed seats and I really regret it.

Since you will only see this production with these fantastic lead actresses perhaps ONCE in your lifetime, spend the extra money and get an orchestra seat. It's not like you're going every week the way you might go to a movie every week. It's a very special occasion that you will remember forever, like your wedding. So spend a little more so your memories won't stink.

I was in the very back row of the mezzanine for Wicked a few weeks ago, in the very same theater. It's not a bad view, we saw and heard everything one would hope to, but we paid $45 for our tickets.. I really don't think it's worth $80-90 unless you *really* want to see it one more time.
