What did everyone think of Brittney Spears tonight on the MTV Vedio Music Awards? Did you think she looked great, fat, skinny, prettty, ugly? Has she changed and can her career be boosted by her performance tonight? What did you think about how she danced? Did you think she danced good or not? Overall what is yout opinion please. she forgot the lyrics at some critical junctures to her own song!
not impressive at all!!!
she's outta shape, her dance moves weren't sharp
she was out partying the night before all over vegas with Diddy...well thats what she gets for not going in prepared for such a critical performance and being irresponsible the night before
WHAT HAPPENED TO DISCIPLINE AND WORK ETHIC???
She did a very good job of blowing off her "comeback" and seeking redemption from fans
I bet the songs she's gonna be releasing were digitally altered to make her voice sound good
Did you see Rihanna's and 50 cents' faces during her performance?
They had that "she's messed up" look on their faces and they weren't impressed AT ALL

HONESTLY, I THOUGHT SHE WAS HOT
NOT her dance moves, but her. As a mother of a 2 yr-old, I can only imagine what it would take to have another baby that close after the first and get my body into shape without becoming anorexic. It was hard work the first time! Anyone who has comments on her being chubby clearly is either (a) a male, or (b) a childless female.
I LOVED the Broadway Chicago theme. Great choice for a come back.
The song was catchy. My eyes were glued to the screen the entire performance.
And it was rude of Rihanna to be laughing- she should know that the camera captures things like that. It makes her look bad. When she's been through what Brit has, then she can chuckle.
Sarah Silverman's comments post- Brit's performance were relentless and unnecessary. I hope she gets it back ten fold for the things she so dryly said.
Overall, Brit should be smart enough to not party the night before a career come back, that way maybe she could have focused on her dance moves- a fifth grader could have done better! But, she tried, and it didn't hurt that she has the money and glamour to put into the performance!

But Out Of All The Performances On The Show I Honestly Thought That Britney's Was The Best Performance . Although I Am Not A Big Brittany Fan Her Performance Is The Only One I Would Watch Again. However The Show Was Also UGH This Year & I Wont Even Bother Next Year !!! Also She Had Two Kids Back To Back In 2 Years, & Who Cares About Her Body . She's Not A Supermodel She's A Singer.

I am a little disappointed in the performance.
All the things she's been going through the past year or so have been tough on her as it is, let alone having to deal with it all under the spotlight. She sure could have used a really great comeback performance to remind everyone why she once was the number one pop star in the world.
The song isn't bad, but it's not catchy enough to get everyone's attention after all the negative press she's been getting. And the blatant lip-syncing doesn't help her credibility as any sort of artist. Also, given the fact that the press and everyone in the world knows that she's a little overweight [not fat, just not as in shape as she was in her prime] right now, she really shouldn't have shown up on stage in a bra and panties- a little trashy and over-the-top if you ask me.
She also looked very reserved and a little nervous...you could tell she was focused on the choreography more so than the energy she was portraying on stage, because she sure did not look like she was into it.
I'm a little sad for her, because I was really hoping to see some of the old Britney! Hopefully she'll work it out soon

I don't know why Britney would even do that to herself. As soon as she started performing I could tell something wasn't right. First off, her stylist was wrong for everything that Britney had on from head to toe. Britney's hair is starting to grow back and her hair dresser needed to put some tracks up top so that no one would notice the two drastic different lengths of hair. The outfit she had on was just wrong. Britney does not have the same body that she used to. Yes, she is in good shape for having two kids, but not perfect shape. Her stomach did not need to be showing. It would have looked a lot better if she was covered up. The choreography was set up so that if Britney were to fall, a dancer would be there to catch her. The dancers assisted her on every move she made b/c she couldn't stand up straight. I couldn't believe my eyes, and I don't think anyone in the audience could believe it either. At the same time, you kind of want to give her the benefit of the doubt, and just say that she may have been nervous b/c of the come back, but that is going a little to the extreme. None of her actions looked like they were from her being nervous. She has issues in her life and that performance confirmed it. She not the Britney Spears she used to be.

I actually felt sorry for her. It can't be easy to be in her shoes right now. I think it may have been too much pressure. The audience was not supportive at all. Justin was there too, and that must have been difficult.
Still, with all of that I have no idea what was going on. Her dancing just looked like a "walk through" with no energy or enthusiasm. The lip sych was bad- but I noticed alot of other artists had the same problem.
BTW- advice to Rhianna... I don't know what the hell she was laughing at.... her lipsynching was no better.

I am absolutely disgusted at Britney Spears. She looked like a oompa loompa and, come on people, she could have put on a decent top at the very least. Fine, expose your legs..they are not that bad...but all that other stuff. UGH! And was she dancing or reacting to flash bulbs? O......K....that was a very sad performance and I am shocked that MTV allowed THAT to open up the show....what a miss.

Britney Spears has good song but looked a little stiff while performing. She had a bit of a belly which may have slowed her down. Maybe she just had a long day taking care of her kids and they tired her out.

Britney's performance was a huge disappointment.First of all,she wore a bikini that was 2 sizes too small.
She barely danced,she didn't lip sync the whole song,and she was so high that she looked like she was falling asleep at the mic.
It's really too bad,I was rooting for her.
