I know it's only the first week of the regular season, but come on! I didn't get too upset when they lost all four of their preseason games. I mean, the preseason rarely predicts how a team will play in the regular season... But, today was just embarrassing. The team has talented players. Are they just not buying into whatever Herm is trying to do? If they keep playing this way, I see them going 2-14. At best!

Last week, I asked about win-loss record prediction for the Chiefs. I wrote 5-11 and that might be a gift. Chiefs may not even beat the Raiders either game this year and the Raiders got embarrassed by Detroit today. Bill Cowher was on NFL Today on CBS today, he may be moving back to KC soon. I like Herman Edwards, but Carl Peterson will blame his poor general manager effort on Herm and sack him to hire Cowher as soon as Carl can think of a reason. Offensive and defensive lines need help. Huard isn't the answer, Croyle isn't the answer, Casey Printers may have been the answer and Trent Green proved last year he wasn't the answer. This is Len Dawson's 50th year in the NFL, player and broadcaster. Time to activate Len, so what if he is 72 years old? Justin Medlock needs to find a new job, kicking isn't his profession. Yes, Carl passed on Mason Crosby of Colorado and he kicked the winning FG for Green Bay today. Another great draft move by Carl. This isn't the USFL anymore Carl, the only place you had success with the Philadelphia Stars. Wake up and resign so the Chiefs can find a real general manager that knows what he is doing. Carl should have traded Larry Johnson when he could get something for him. Johnson will get hurt this year without an O line and the workload he had last year and will have by mid season this year. I could continue to go on, but I am tired of bi*ching about the Chiefs. All the other readers of this forum are tired of me bi*ching also, I expect.

Adultery is a contravention of the UCMJ; a military chief does no longer be shielded from that because of the fact he's a primary. The question on retired pay relies upon on how long married in spite of the incontrovertible fact that this is achievable to get it if much less then 10 years (the federal requirement to make it an entitlement) finding on the state.

Their in trouble because their QB situation is horrible. Did you watch the Hard Knocks show on HBO regarding the Chiefs training camp. Each week, the staff and Carl Peterson were hoping that Brodie seized the opportunity in front of him. Face it, their will be 3 SEC QB's in the AFC West next year when Russell signs and Brodie is a distant 3rd to Russell and Cutler. The best part of that Hard Knocks show was watching the Chiefs supposed 3rd string qb get cut and saying how could he not make this team. In his words, he was making "chicken salad out of chicken s%$^" ....this is gonna be a long year for Chiefs fans.

i dont think the word trouble describes what the chiefs are, i think disaster is actually more fitting they could be worse than the raider were last season, and to correct you they dont actually have talent, ok lj i guess has some talent, but maybe his classless smack talking after a couple of carries for few yards kinda made the texans mad and they shut the chiefs down, and the texans arent really as good a s they looked aginst the chiefs, the chiefs are just rotten, the whole mess starts from the top as long as "king carl" is making the decisions the chiefs will be just like they have been for 37 years...pathetic with no chance for the superbowl

The chiefs are not a good team they will be lucky to win 5 games and 2 or 3 of those will be however many home games they have in December, for some reason they are almost always impossible to beat at home in December.

Uhmm yeah they are in trouble. The team just has so many issues, that it would require a whole article to just summarize.
Worse yet, the AFL conference has more then the usual amount of quality teams. This season is not going to be pretty for them.

They do not have a good receiving core, they didn't do as the Colts have done and rebuild their offensive line as it gets older, they traded there All-Pro QB that leaves them career backup, and a QB with what looks to be mediocre potential, and there defense never has looked good, thus is the case this year. So I would say they are in trouble, but they do have Larry Johnson, Tony Gonzales, and a good coach in Edwards.

The Chiefs had too many QB's in the pre-season. The coach (Edwards) should have tried only one QB and stuck with him.
Huard is now being asked to pull the team out of losing, and he will in time. The qb wannabe, Printers, wasn't any good, and they used him too much in pre-season.
They need to fire Edwards, and get a good coach.

They certainly didn't look very good. Give it some time, but what is clear is that we're in the same boat(I'm a Bills fan. Sorry we choked like that against the Donkeys...): our teams need to shape up and quick or they're going to be done in the fast-paced AFC....

Hey man, it is only the first game, I am a Die hard redskin fan, so I know how you feel, my team won they're first game but I don't see them doing good. and there has been teams that have lost they're first game and turned it around the next week and won the super bowl. don't give, stick with them, wait and see.
