Ok well I have 2 kids,both very painful.Right after my daughter my labia became swollen & loose.Then after I had my son which was even worse(9 pounds) it got even worse.I know all about the surgery & ruled it out.Why did this happen & did it happen to you?My doctor said when she had her son she swelled some but it went away.I have never seen any of my friends or sisters look like mine & alot of them have kids,too.What's the cause of this & does abnormal hormone levels after pregnancy have alot to do with it?Any info or sympathy is appreciated.LOL

Within a few days to a week after having your baby, the swelling and soreness of your labia should begin to subside. And two weeks postpartum, you should definitely be on the mend. If you haven't noticed significant improvement by then, be sure to ask your health provider about it.
How old is your son? It sounds like you already contacted your doc. Hormones & trauma from giving birth adds to swelling of your labia.

I wonder if it had anything to do with how hard you pushed to get those kiddos out? I've not noticed any swelling, and I don't know the cause. Surely abnormal hormones wouldn't have anything to do with it. Is it painful? Or just embarrassing. I wonder...the injections they use to erase (face-lift) the face--would it work on your stuff?
I have two kiddos--the first was 10-6, and never got past 6 cm. TOO BIG. The second was 3 weeks early, and he was 8-10. I pushed with him for two grueling hours. He wouldn't crown. TOO BIG. I had c-sections on both. I'm done with that business.

my vag is kinda droopy since i had my kids - i have poor skin tone all over so i thought it was just 'cos i have crappy skin . personally if i could afford the surgery , i would go for it . this lady once tried to sell me some cream ( i think it was called "mycreme" )that is supposed to make being touched there more pleasurable - but also plump it up and make that area tighter ( as in firmer ) . if you do find something that works , i would love to know what !
anyway , you get ALL my sympathy , thats for sure .

i was watching Dr.90210 n he said that it was genetic, so maybe ur labia was already gonna be large n when u had ur kids it probably made it worst... so are u gonna do the surgery? cuz one of my labia is longer than the other one n its uncomfortable..
