Just because you are good person doesn't mean that life is going to get handed to you on a silver platter. It does however have it's disadvantages as well as it's advantages. Some people are good to everyone and never get the same in return, others are good and expect a reward for, than their are the ones that just get taken "advantage" of for their good nature and heart. I am # 3 but this I have learned is my own fault. I don't expect things from people I just don't know how to say no I am busy today or I already had plans or how I really feel for fear that the person really needs my help and the one chance that I could of done something good would of been blown. I do however know that the kindness that you give gets returned right back to you, maybe not in the same measure as which you gave it, maybe more, either way life hands you what you give out.

It was an underlying expectation when I was much younger. Then I found out that the real plan was to melt me in a furnace, put molten me in a mold, have a cool down, and get hammered into shape. The process is still underway.
Either I overrated my goodness or goodness in human beings is overrated relative to absolutely good.

No and it is not life that treats me well or bad. It's God who gives me good times and hard times to test my faith. At least this is what I think.
