Which one, there are two Arizona Charlie's in Las Vegas
Arizona Charlie's Boulder & Arizona Charlie's Decatur

I have never been to the one on Decatur and only went to AC Boulder one time to play video poker - They have nickel 9/6 JOB upstairs near the bar.
If you're just looking for a nice inexpensive place to stay, the El Cortez is nicer and a lot more convenient, especially if you don't have a car.

Later: My mind is going, I almost forgot, the reason we went to AC Boulder was to eat, we wanted to try their "graveyard specials". They had several good ones for under $2.

I have stayed at Arizona Charlie's on Decatur and enjoyed the place. They now have Outback Steakhouse in this building which is a nice resturant to go to. They also have inexpensive breakfast menu and buffet. Food is good and the employees are friendly. I recommend it to my friends when they go to Vegas. It is off the strip but near areas where you can shop.

i do unlike Arizona Charlie's... the single on Decatur is in a crappy area of city. in case you will stay off the strip... i could propose the Suncoast or the Orleans. Very low-fee - beautiful rooms (fantastically Suncoast)- great playing (great poker rooms) - friendly group - and the lodges are extremely sparkling!!
