location of charcoal canister on a 2002 chevy prism with a 1.8l engine?

Most of the charcoal canisters (on newer cars) are located under the car near the gas tank.

Not too hard to identify once you get under the car. It may have a sensor/wire running to it and a couple of vacuum lines, small rubber tubes.
