I'd worry a lot more about the glue: takes some time to dry. Even when dry, it still emits gasses which, in the shuttle, are "stuck" there (sorry, I tried to avoid the pun but the pun was stronger than me). Glue vapors are not healthy. In houses, you wait afew days and open a few windows and you're OK.

Also may present a fire hazard: the shuttle atmosphere may be richer in Oxygen. The glue and the paper would have to be fire proof.

Ask politely. If they say yes, thank them. But don't bet your first paycheck on them saying yes.

To Pegasus: Buzz Lightyear? Eeck! At least Dolphins could represent a constellation (Delphinus, home of your cousin NGC 7006).

Back to T.T.: don't be surprised if they make jokes about your dolphins' "nostrils"; it is an inside joke for visual astronomers.

Probably not. It costs roughly $10,000 per pound to launch into space. You're wallpaper (with all the glue and tools you'd need) would cost thousands of taxpayer's dollar's for you to have something pretty to look at when the lights are off in the sleeping quarters. Also, you don't get your own room on board. You get to share it with 6 other folks. They may not want dolphin wallpaper, they may want Buzz Lightyear or something else.

Maybe. But your "sleeping area" is just a place where you put a sleeping bag. It isn't like a room or anything.

And I am getting pretty annoyed at this continuing series of silly, frivolous questions about the shuttle.
