My BIL had Atari and I had the other system. I liked my games better than his. Played Donkey Kong and Bugs Bunny ALL the time. Is there any Bugs Bunny game online? The one I played had 100 levels. It was awesome fun!!!

It was the Colecovision. ^_^ That was the first home system to have Donkey Kong on it. Intellivision didn't get their version of that game until Mattel pulled the plug on the hardware....the Atari 2600 and later the 5200 got their versions of Donkey Kong less than a year after Coleco pulled the plug on their system.

It's a shame they went away so quickly too...the Colecovision seemed to be in the *perfect place*, offering better controls and name-brand games the way Atari did, only with the better graphics and sound Mattel did on the Intellivision.

But the competition was too much, and in the end, everyone crashed....

At least until Nintendo and Sega showed up. ^_^

Lots of cool memories....thanks for your time! ^_^

If it used cassettes than I would say commodore 64, or if it was the late 80's ya got the NES. If you played King Kong it would probably be a nintendo system of some kind.
Try http://www.nintendo.com/home you can download some of their old games, play online and they might have the bugs bunny game.

there was Intellivision and Calecovision out at that time. had a cousin that had Calecovision and it had Donkey Kong. I liked that version better at the time since it was truer to the arcade than the Atari 2600 version that I had.
