please help

i have this graph with two lines. The first one is an open cirlce that is open that starts on (-1,-1) and goes forever down intececting (-3, -5).

the second line starts as a small closed dot at (-1,-3) and dips down to (0,-4)then goes up intercecting (2,0) and then intercecting (3,5) and going on forever.

the question that i have is what is the value of x at which g(x) is not continuous.

It is discontinuous when x = -1. (-1,1) and (-1,3) give two different values of y for x= -1. This means you no longer have a function at x=-1.

Your problem is that you haven't defined what you are talking about at all. Lines are linear, they don't rise and dip and curve. And g(x) could be anything.
