what is the amount of this? it's a math question basically?

ok i'm expecting a check in the mail for october but it is prorated. i'm being paid from october 1st till october 22 nd. the normal total would be $550.00. What is the pro rated amount?

Given nothing more about your hours of work, the best estimate would be 22/31 * 550.
