It seems like I am the only person at my college that uses lip gloss? I would think more women would wear it considering all the beauty ads.

Lip gloss is a waste of money. It doesn't add much color, it doesn't last very long, and most women look silly with sparkly lips. Women are much smarter than the beauty ads give us credit for.

I'm in college and I swear by sheer, moisturizing clinique lipsticks with a glossy finish like Precious Pink! Lip gloss just seems like it wears off too quickly for me, leaves my lips drier than before, and when I'm walking across campus with my hair down on a windy day it can get messy!! Also, I think many lip gloss lines are geared more toward the teen generation as opposed to the twenty-somethings. But hey girl, if you like it, by all means, work it!!

I think more teenagers and girls ages 10-17/18 wear lip gloss and after that more people wear lip stick -- i dont know, maybe its just because lip stick is supposed to give you more color and the older you get, the more you want? Take this example: my grandma wears BRIGHT pink lip stick and my mom wears lighter & more low key shades.
i know i like to wear lip gloss, but then again im 13!! :)

Well maybe they don't like those kind of stuff. But I bet there is at least some women who wear lip gloss or lip stick.

women do put lip gloss on in the morning, but after an hour it's worn off! Most women can't be bothered reapplying it 12 times a day!

it's ok,your not alone,lol,i wear lip gloss 24/7 i always have to have some on my lips especially when i'm out.i have to agree with you,i don't see a lot of women wearing it,out of all the girls i know,im about the only one.i think most women prefer chapstick,lip stick or don't put anything on their lips

Well not all women want to. Why do you care?
Anyway a lot of teens gob on the gloss and it's a little more grown up to go semi-matte to matte on the lips now.

Well, Lipstick is coming back in style now, so many people put the lipgloss aside.
Lipsticks are now coming in gloss versions in long, chic tubes, so they are not old lady anymore.

I wear it but it's hard to keep on. When I'm in school I'm simply too busy to keep reapplying it. I put mine on a few times a day, but when I get really busy with school work I forget to. Maybe they just don't have time and it comes off whenever you eat, drink or lick your lips.

Most guys don't appreciate gloss-transfer while kissing, so their SO's choose not to wear it.
