Wasn't it on a tuesday? I ask because the anneversary is on a tuesday this year and the person who I was talking to about about this today wasn't sure either.

I kept thinking it was Tuesday, after 6 years, it's interesting how we can just remember it feeling like it was a Tuesday. I checked online to see what others had to say, so having read everyone's answers, seems pretty definite it was a Tuesday. This year it feels especially significant having been a Tuesday the actual day it happened.

It was a Tuesday. I remember it well because the day before was a day off for Labour Day in the US. I was working in our London office and needed to speak to a person in our NY office, but had to wait til the next day plus the 5 hours for the time difference. While we were on the phone the first plane hit and we had telephone disruption. I thought it was dropped because it was an iternational call. It wasn't I found out later.
