yep... you get to claim at least one child on the taxes.. and if you dont make a whole lot you get a huge refund.. and half of what he has if he can not prove you cheated.. child support .. but if you love him none of this can compare.. if you dont.. go ahead and divorce him

Well, the kids most likely would also be eligible at school for free breakfast and lunch. You might be eligible s a single mom with kids at home for a break in utilities and stuff like that. But if you divorce and he is still living there, you can be liable if he is contributing financially to you. Each state is different.

You're asking about the financial gains of divorce? Either you want to be married to him or you don't. What about the love?

No. It costs money to get a divorce and money to get yourself back on your feet after a divorce. That is why so many women wind up going through bankruptcy after the divorce is final.

dude didn't you say you are reconciling.i hate to say this, but, you mite want to put this "school thing" on the proverbial back burner. your scared, that justified and reasonable. get the marriage concreted, if that's a word. i believe there isn't any gains, whether it be financial or not, in the big "D". just lots of pain. seek counseling from a bible believing,GOD fearing pastor. hes got GOD on his side. yes, pastor's are not all what you see in the media.I've got one that's a real gem. BTW, if God's on your side,no one will be against you.amen.if you need my pastors ph# email me. just click on my picture here on "answers"

It's actually better to be single for tax purposes. That's why they call it a marriage penalty.
