I love the name Amy. I was going to name my first child Aimee. Instead I had a son named Aaron.

I love the name Amy. My second baby was going to be named Amy, but turned out to be Jeffrey!!!

It's sweet... I guess you'd call it a classic... was more popular in the 60's and 70's... maybe 80's too. But those names (Amy/Kathy/Patty/Jennifers,etc.) are feeling more refreshing to me now against all of the Lily/Sophia/Madison's/Kayla's etc. names these days!

I think Amy is a good solid name and not as overused as it was say 10-15 years ago.

It is easy to pronounce and will be pretty un common for little kids right now. Mostly as 20-40 year old name.

I think it is out dated. May make a come back though, who knows. However, it is so much better than a lot of trendy names right now, think Nevaeh.

I DO NOT CARE FOR IT BUT I HAVE HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE with a girl named Amy!!!! she was a huge mean tyrant!!!! so i prefer Amanda.
