1. We're also the only species that cooks its food. I'm not sure that's proof of anything. 2, 3, and 6. You can get hormone-free organic milk, from humanely-raised cows. However, it may be hard to find and expensive. 4, 7, 9, and 10. Interesting, but I'm not sure where you get your info, as I have never heard these before. 5. Correlation =/= causation. There is a high rate of osteoporosis among Caucasians, and European or European-descended people (aka white Americans, Canadians, etc.) may drink more milk than others due to their typical cuisine. This doesn't mean that one causes the other. 8. I have heard this before, but I've heard from other sources that it is just an urban legend. Sounds like in your experience it is true. So, some are more convincing than others. I'm not trying to convince you to drink milk (I think being vegan is great--go for it). You might want to cite some sources if you want to be really convincing. And definitely your arguments are good reasons not to drink the majority of milk produced (which is, as you say, produced in unethical conditions and full of hormones and junk).

From the sound of it I'd say they really love their Vegemite...

They really love it, from what I can tell. It's usually put out at breakfast like jam and jelly in the US. No idea why they like it, as I found it yucky, but then again, I'm in American living in Australia. lol. So, yes, they seem to love it.

They say they like it but from all accounts it taste like crap. Go to wikipedia and look it up and it explains how it came about. It was interesting but still sounds nasty. Maybe it is an acquired taste.
