I have to do 3 HUGE tests to do before i go to sleep and its already 10:12. I would have started at 8:00 but for 2 hours i was playing internet games! So i told myself "OK get to those tests! You need them done!" On the first question i started watching meet the fockers and now im like NO! I procrastinated again! If i start back up again, i just know something is going to distract me. Help!

You really just flat out don't care, but you're pretty much forced to. But the consequences for not doing assignments is worse than missing out on computer time....it sucks, but it's forced upon you..whatever

Tackle distateful tasks a step at a time, rather than anticipating and dreading the entire task. For example, a couple of days before the test, get out your notes and organize them on your desk, then go away do something else. A while later, make a list of items you need to study, then go away and do something else. Next, take the first thing on your list, and memorize a some things on that subject, maybe make a few notes, then go do something else.

The trick is not to tackle the whole gruling thing in one go. Break it down it down into manageable pieces and do a bit at a time. It is a lot easier to start a small task like "organize my books" than "study the entire semester now".

we are continually taking action. Even dozing in a hammock is taking an action. contemplate whether the strikes you're taking are best you on your objectives. i detect that persons procrastinate using fact they're too concentrated on the boring activity handy. people who do no longer procrastinate are extra concentrated on the top outcomes that they are going to get. It makes it much less complicated to do what you're able to do to get there.

If you keep going like this, your friends will have graduated from college while you're still making it past the 11th grade.

In other words, stop screwing around.

Acknowledge that you don't want to study.
Acknowledge that you want to fail.
Then go back to watching the TV.
