There will be days when you doubt your very existence let alone "is this truly my soulmate"? To end your doubt you only need to ask yourself "Will I be okay if we were not together and I saw he/she with someone else?" According to the way you answer, you will either end your doubt or end your relationship. However, I plead that you look before you leap.

Yes, of course. Happy, fulfilling marriages take work, and they go through ups and downs just like any other relationship in life. No matter how in love you are, you will have differences, you will fight, you will suffer through illnesses, stresses, frustrations, etc., and all of these things take a toll on a marriage. You have to work at communicating with each other, caring for one another, forgiving one another, and you have to be patient. Marriage is the most wonderful relationship two people can have, but TV and movies have trivialized it and made people think it's all love, sex and laughter. Not so. Every married person has looked at their spouse at least once and thought, "Oh, my God, what was I thinking when I married you?"
Also, I want to add that I don't believe in soulmates. Thinking another human being is your soulmate puts way too much of a burden on your spouse and on your relationship. Give each other break and face the facts: You're two imperfect people doing the best you can in this world, and your spouse is your lover, your friend and your partner while you're journeying through life. The word "soulmate" doesn't give people room to be human, and it implies a standard of perfection that no one can live up to.

Once I found my soulmate, I never doubted it, but there were days when I doubted whether or not I deserved him.....it was insecurity, and I got over it. I love him more now than the day I met him.

Of course anger does that to a person but once you clear your head and have a second to think you just know that that person is the one ment for you. Can you hold a grudge at that person for longer then a day. Does the person make you laugh for no reason? Do you miss them when they are gone if only for a half an hour? True love will have its tests by the devil because he doesnt want it to happen but its about never giving up. Doubts are normal we are human but, dont let the devil alter your mind in your heart you will know if its true or not.

I don't believe in the term soulmate. I do believe that by being yourself, offering open communication, good morals, and total honesty that we open ourselves to finding a loving individual to be part of our lives. To that end, I don't believe in doubting that choice. In the 16 yrs. I have been with my husband there hasn't been a day I doubt "our" choice to be together and I can't imagine ever having to live without him and he me. We continually discuss where we are going in life and create a lifestyle by doing so that continues to move us in that direction together. It's a partnership.

I ask my self that everyday, But the most important thing I ask my self is can I live without him? The answer to that is NO! That to me is the most important, wether he is my soulmate or not I couldnt live with out him!!
