the quarterbacks have a Little green dot on the back of their helmets because now the couch's can talk to the QB and tell them what play to call.

Well they tried other colors and decided Green was the best. After all they were going with one color for ALL the teams, so they had to find the one that looked best with ALL the teams. Now my question is why are you people so focused on back of the helmet. I mean you have to be obsessed with the back of the helmet to notice that little dot.

the green dot signifies players who can have connection to the sideline coaches through their helmet. No other player on the field may have a communication device on their person during the game.

They have the communication device with the sideline. New rule this season-only one such device on the field per team at any one time. The green sticker shows the refs who has it.

it shows which helmets have the earplugs to allow the qb to communicate with the coaches calling teh plays. only 1 person can have that on the field at a time.

i am seriously getting sick of seeing this question......


it is so that the officals will know which player has the headset in their helmet since their is only allowed to be one player on the feild at a time with a headset

Didn't you ask this already? Seriously it is the helmet with the heaset in it so they can hear the coach calling the play

because it signals to the referees that they are the ones who get the plays from the coaches.
notice how the coaches have headsets, they call the plays and they QB's hear it in their helmets.
then, they tell the team the play in the huddle.
