Because I swear, i saw bubbles come out of my goldfishes rear end today

Funny you should ask......I just told this story not too long ago!
Just the other day I had to reprimand my red wag molly for farting while the others while trying to eat their dinner. I explained how rude it was, then sent her to her sunken ship without dessert (brine shrimp, yummmmm). She eventually peeked her little fish head out and fish lipped the words "I'm sorry" to me, at which time I promptly let her come out of the sunken ship, gave her a little pat on her little fish head, and gave her a freeze dried treat for being a good girl. She hasn't been rude since.

PS: When they fart, you don't see bubbles. The rest of the fish just tend to stop what they are doing and gaze evily at the fish who passed the gas!!!

This is kinda gross but yes, haven't you ever seen like little strings of stuff hanging out of them? This happens if you accidentally overfeed them.
Hey the little bubbles must have been fish farts. Oh jeez I've been sitting at this keyboard too long tonight. That was bad.

Don't you remember why Bobby Budnick made them fill the pool with buckets of water? Because he didn't want to swim in the lake where the fish farted.

Well, I've never personally seen it, but I see them burp all of the time, so why would it come out of one end and not the other!? I'm no expert on the digestive system of a fish, but I reckon they can...

They have a digestive tract that's more than a little similar to a human's, so there's no reason to think they wouldn't have a little bubbling down under after a baked bean dinner.

Probably. Something's definitely coming out of it for sure... Goldfish feces look like thin white threads that are somewhat gross.
