Hey...the answer to your question is 240,000 Miles away from Earth. The Moon is your answer...It is still here and devoid of all life.

So life (humanity and whatever) will go first. The Earth will still be here even if it is a barren rock like the Moon.

Humanity will be the first to go. Humans have been around for a mere 3.5 million years. Earth, however, has been around for 4.5 billion years. Heck, even the dinosaurs had been around longer than humans (some 180 million years before going extinct 65 million years ago). Even if humanity used every single weapon in it's collective arsenal, it wouldn't be enough to destroy the Earth. We may be able to destroy 99.9% of life, but that last 1/10% will be enough for life to reflourish.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Humans will evolve into another species. The change could be a natural taking millions of years. Or we could choose to genetically engineer ourselves into an "improved" human in as little as 1,000 years or so. Either way, it will be long before Earth itself is destroyed by the Sun entering the red giant stage.

Humanity.

The mean temperature on the earth only needs to change slightly and all life on the planet will change too. Humans are actually very fragile.

First, humanity will go.

Then, the robots who wiped out humanity will go.

Then the insectoid race who will evolve after us will go.

Followed by the robots who wiped out the insectoid race.

Then, the Earth will go.

There is an earth-like planet named
Gliese 581c, which is about twenty
light years from here.
It's posible that quantum mechanics
might get us there before this planet
gives way.
