I want a boy (but of course as long as my baby's healthy), but what are some unique manly names. I like Heath (my beau looks JUST like heath ledger, hehe)...he said "it's too hard to say" and is just a "simple man".
He likes luke though.

Andrew, Liam, Jackson, David, Beau, Nathaniel, Tobias, Scott, Thomas, William, Patrick, Colin, Caleb, Aaron, Luke and Heath
Those names all sound "manly" to me. I don't like this new fad of naming kids androgynous names like Riley and Jaden. If I were a teacher, I'd prefer not to have to guess the sex of my child. I prefer traditional sounding names and these names are actually becoming unique now. A kid born today is more likely to go to school with Mason, Jaden and Kaden then Luke, William and Andrew. Heath Ledger's full first name is Heathcliff, btw, which I still like. Good Luck!

Well why dont you pick the middle name and let him have Luke or Lukas/Lucas as the first name if its a boy? Then if its a girl you can pick the first name and he can pick the middle name.

The first thing that popped into my head was Luke Brian. I think it sounds very strong and manly. I also like my son's names (obviously), I have Jacob Connor and Adam Chase.

Im not too sure about unique manly names... what about Blade or Blaze? Or Gage? Or Stone or Stryker or Vaden? I came across those "unique" names and they sounded strong. I tried to talk my husband into Stryker but he wouldnt go for it. :)

Luke's good. Any of the Apostles are good. Almost anything you can think of as traditional American names are good.
If you want to go the other "strong" route, names like Steele, Stone, Dirk, Lance, Brock, Brick, Biff, Turk and Rock are all "strong," but in more of a "gay pornstar" kind of way--no offense to anyone reading this who might be saddled with one of these monikers. . . .

I like both Luke and Heath.

I also like the names Owen, Grant, Liam, and Mason. I think those all sound strong in my opinion.

Good luck to you and your beau!

I like Luke, too! I'm big on the classic names, like John, Aaron and Charlie; however, I also like names that are different- like Jonas, Duvall and Broughton (that was my grandaddy's name).
