i was really exited about it but to be honest i didnt see nothing special. i feel that she didnt wanted to be there... like you could see on her face that she was like "omg when im i going to be finished".... i hope she gets it back together because i love britney. her new song is hot! what do you guys think?

After Britney’s performance last night, ‘comedienne’ Sarah Silverman insulted Britney by saying she had ‘accomplished everything she was ever going to’, and also made fun of her kids by calling them mistakes.

Apparently, Britney overheard her rehearsing her comments backstage and told MTV she wouldn’t perform if they let her say them. MTV agreed and told Silverman not to use her monologue, but she defied them and did it anyway.

Britney was also reportedly found crying to her assistant Alli Sims in the bathroom after she got off stage.

Seriously, after watching the performance again in HQ, I like it! Sure, it wasn’t spectacular, but if it was any other artist doing that performance I bet everyone would have loved it.

All the tabloids and TV shows are saying she was FAT! Are they blind? Britney looked amazing, you can’t even tell she had her second baby less than a year ago. I think this just shows how sick celebrity culture is these days.

Also, there are rumours that Britney didn’t perform her ‘magical’ show with Criss Angel due to Insurance problems. The Palms hotel (where it was broadcast from) told MTV that she couldn’t do it as it was too much of a liability, so sources say that she had to change the performance at the last minute…

Not a huge britney fan, but like most wanted to see her perform. I was so embarressed for her, I kind of felt bad. I actually thought there would be a chance of her not performing right before the show, just because of her past.
I liked the song actually, yes her performance was pretty bad. She should've waited unitl she was really ready to do this and do it well, not halfass. Her body was ok, I mean come on she did have a couple kids, but everyone is comparing her to her old self and old body, give her some time, she can get the body back and the moves, she just needs to get more things back into line.

I think the performance looked like she wasnt ready to be on stage but someone told her to do it. She can obviously still sing cuz her new song is really good. I just dont think she was ready to be on stage at this point in her life. And about her body....I think she looks slammin for having 2 kids within like 2 1/2 years! Especially considering all the alcohol she drank and cigarette she's smoked and not to mention the divorce. I think her body looks good. She needs to stop wearing those ugly extensions though and let her short hair show. It's cute and it's different. I'm rooting for her. I never liked her before but for some reason, now I'm on her side.

Yeah... she looked nervous... put yourself in her shoes, people are always waiting for her to screw up, and i give her so much props for having the courage to get up there and do it anyway...and until she gets use to the stage and performing and everything again, its going be rough.... by the way I was NEVER really a fan of her, and i really dont care much for her music, but with all this stuff shes been going through, she seems more like a real person and you cant help, but feel some of her pain.....soo for all those ppl out there hating on her...give her some slack
and for the people making fun of her body, the woman had 2 kids, i think she looks fabulous you can tell shes really been working out and stuff compared to how she looked a few months ago

People are complaining she lip synched, however most artists who dance do that especially on the VMA where they need to sound good for the TV. Chris Brown did the same and so did others, they spoke over the mic also tho. At that however, she barley danced so she could of sung, and she looked like she couldn't handle walking on heels and was about to fall and just moved horribly. I felt embarrassed watching it. Finally she dressed like a slut. Rihanna locked hot and had an outfit. She just had like a prostitutes outfit.

i really don't think she did as bad as everyone is making out.I think even if she would have did an outstanding job she still wouldn't get positive results. i think it was entertaining she did what she always does dance and pose half naked. what did u really expect? with all the negative publicities she's been getting do u really think the outcome would be good. I'm not a Brittney fan but the performance match what she was singing about.

Everybody keeps on saying that she will get it back together she will have a comeback just wait for it... Its NOT going to happened she has given up COMPLETLY and the VMA performance just proves that she does not care anymore especially to her fans who are waiting patiently for her to get her life back together. If she did then she would stop partying late at night, stop flashing the cameras, and stop dressing like a crack whore.

She didn't look all that bad but her performance was terrible. She looked high and unsteady on her feet and she barely moved her lips. Poor girl is washed up and only 25 years old.
