bcuz of radio in the helmets or wut? just wondering

Yea because they have a microphone hooked up to it. The green dot is their because only one player on each team, on the field, is allowed.

I believe the green dot means that they have an internal receiver in their helmet that receives calls from their teams coordinator/play caller. It's really for the referees to know.

That lets the referees know that they have a headset in their helmets to receive the play calls

Yeah because your only aloud to have 1 communication device on the field at one time and the dot tells you who has it.
