What is The Boy From Oz about?

It tells the story of Peter Allen, who began in the outback of Australia. He started out as an opening act for Judy Garland and selling out shows at Radio City. He then married Judy's daughter, Liza Minelli, only to figure out that a few years later that he was gay. He gives one final concert in Australia then dies from AIDS.
