The last one or the one before the last one was "This Old Man" the children's song. I approached several students in a Special Ed room I was substituting in as an aide and they were looking at a book that was the lyrics of that song. They asked me to read it but as I began reading it I had to sing it instead and then they all joined in and we sang it as we went from page to page and the song went on. It was great fun!

Happy Birthday is the ONLY song I ever sang out loud in front of anyone I didn't know. Maybe the only one I ever sang out loud in front of anyone at all.

After a very pleasant evening, singing around the piano bar at the Soundview restaurant, a few of us hung around outside with ther piano man (stage-name "Danny Keys"), talking about songs.
My son (25) started singing this one (which I recalled from my own college fraternity days), and I joined in. Aside from Danny and a few others at the piano bar (including my wife and college daughter), there were at least two total strangers who came over to listen - so I guess that qualifies.

I don't remember, I'll have to check the hymnbook. I just started attending a new church, so there are lots of people I don't know, and we all sing out loud together.

I sing random songs at work all the time. In fact, we try to annoy each other as often as possible. We like to get songs stuck in each others heads. lol
