All I can think of are a couple of tv shows. There was a military project called Ares on Smallville. Prior to that, Ares was a recurring character on Xena (played by Kevin Smith - not the Jay & Silent Bob one, I think he was an Australian actor). Of course, his character WAS Ares, the Greek God of War.

The Lightning Thief
The Sea of Monsters
The Titan's Curse
All of them has Ares as a major figure, but many other Greek gods and myths are referenced. You'll enjoy this series very much, too.
