Just the other day I saw a squirrel rushing around in circles, or I should say around the garden shed; well I thought it was one squirrel, but it turned out to be two. They were very comical, and made me smile , and think how wonderful life is.

This morning, walking into work, I stopped for a minute to look at a crab apple tree down the street that's growing wild and through all the greenery noticed a number of apples laying on the ground. Some were half nibbled. We have ground hogs and foxes and racoons all around here. It made me smile thinking about how those cute scavangers must have enjoyed the easy meal.
Peace

its crazy! at the beginning of the summer i used to watch them, they are like "best firends" lol. They never go anywhere without eachother.Whether it be swimming, eating, or just takign a walk, which i swear ive seen them do!
its the cutest thing in the world, and makes me smile each time...thinking how easy they must have it ya kno?

Walking around the lake behind my house tonight-- the scenery was just so pretty. Lots of trees, and no one out on the lake so the water was very still, like glass. I move in two weeks-- I got a little sad, thinking how I'll be missing out on this.

A bunch of little birds fluttering in and out of a birdhouse that someone erected in a mall parking lot. They seemed so happy to have a home even on all that asphalt. It kinda made me smile & almost cry at the same time.

This evening I stood on the front porch for a few minutes watching the sky. The sun was starting to set.

My humming birds. I have around 30-40 that come and feed and they have gotten so used to us that the kids put their fingers up close to the feeders and the birds land on them and feed. It's really cute to see, we sit and watch them for hours sometimes. There have been a few times that my daughter has been able to close her hand around one while it was on her then when she opened her hand it flew right back to the feeder like nothing happened.

I saw a pretty little purple flower growing in the middle of a patch of crab grass and weeds. It was cool b/c it was like in the center and it was cleared by someone all around it. :-)

when my grandfather and I reached the top of the mountain we were hiking/scouting and all that could be seen was a tree covered valley running between 3 mountains just as the mist was clearing from the morning fog. absolutely breathtaking
