My pc says"bootmgr is missing" I instaled new RAM and it wont recognize it, its the same model, what can it be

I have reformated with vista and xp and the blue screen of death appears, I did a test for the memory and it says failed, I put in the new memory and it does not recognize it, I need help, i am going crazy.
