My sense of safety and security was significantly lowered. I lived in Germany when that happened and I was pregnant with my daughter. I remember thinking "what kind of world am I bringing this child into?" For a moment I felt bad because she would have to grow up in a world that is not as safe as it used to be. Living overseas when that happened was unnerving as well because it was a foreign country and the murderers who hijacked the planes went to school there and flew to the US from there. It just made me grow up and realize that everything was not wonderful and there is more to this world than what goes on in my life and my community.

My life has been the some as before 9/11. At the time I was at work as usually when I got off was the first time I heard about the tragedy. I listened to the news the rest of the day. I have never been to New York, but I knew that it was not good
to see those planes flying so low over the city. My heart goes out to those people who were there and lived through all of that.

I see you're here again ...... this is your lucky day!

Death and massive destruction! I have to ask myself why and what for. I still don't understand and probably never will. I just can't grasp the hatred people feel and not even bat an eye lash.

Death to the people is what they're taught from the cradle. How do you deal with such people. The debate goes on and on and on.

I'm trying like hell to trust other countries and there culture's. We all have our God or higher power, so what makes people want to kill and be killed. Guess the answer to that is control. Who ultimately suffers because of control? Every last one of us and I'm not just talking the United States of America.

Yes, it has changed the way I think and trust. May be we needed something like 911 to make us understate that we are not untouchable. It's a reminder that not everyone loves America. However, does their "God" give them permission to kill innocent people. I don't care what our "enemies" say, the Caran doesn't say go out and kill. That's there own interpretation in order to listen to the other "Hitler's in there countries.

I'm deeply concerned about our men and women who are fighting for the freedom 's of the United States and dieing to protect us. So what happens when they come home again. They don't get the treatment they deserve.

The last thing I have to say, "I Want Nothing But The Ending Of The War."

Prior to 9/11 I was pretty naive as to what was going on in the world around me. I believed in trusting your President, I believed in peaceful religions and a world without conflict.

It hasn't really. It seems to me that other people are becoming more paranoid, and it's a pain to fly or travel, but I figure we were overdue for something bad to happen to the US anyways.

Not really. I live in NYC and really the only thing i've noticed is ridiculous security "protocols" and power tripping cops.
