So do you vacation at the South Pole in southern summer and in the North Pole in northern summer?
Then you'd get no sleep (no night).

Better to vacation at the South Pole in southern winter and the North Pole in northern winter - all-night parties would last 6 months.

Maybe, but it would mean that you would most likely be a bird called the Arctic Tern, and I doubt anybody but very small fish would really notice your mood swings.
