since you're prob under water restrictions and CAN"T water it, just wait.... bermuda can and will go into dormancy to save itself in drought conditions.... with the return of rain, it will green up again... there may be spots of loss, but it won't be the whole yard.... do not fertilize at this time, either .. get the fertilizer and pre-emergent cycle going again in early spring once you see it greening up again..... good luck on some rain coming.... I'm near Charlotte, so we both need it......

Water it and at least give it a chance to come back next year . It is pretty hardy but you need to supply it with at least a inch of water a week for several more months. Don't mow but water the heck out of it and pray that it revives . The reason not to mow is the roots go down as far as it is tall so if it is 2 inches tall your roots are 4 inches down into the ground deeper roots mean a better chance to live

There's really no way of knowing from what you've told us, but bermuda grass is tough. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some decent rains and winter moisture for you. Don't fertilize, that would probably kill it.

Contact your Cooperative Extension Service agent for your county and see what he/she can offer to help you. It's their job to help in difficult times.
